The NLP engine scans all the body text on your website, headings, paragraphs, bullet points and meta descriptions. Every phrase is checked against over 200 known greenwashing patterns.
For each finding, you’ll receive a confidence score, a specific suggestion for improvement and an alternative text that you can copy straight away.
Many greenwashing claims are not found in HTML, but in infographics, banners, embedded PDFs and presentations. The OCR engine uses optical character recognition to extract all text from images and checks it for compliance risks.
This allows you to identify greenwashing even in places where traditional text analysis falls short.
Alternative text for images is often overlooked during compliance checks, yet it frequently contains environmental statements that are relevant to SEO and are indexed by search engines.
GreenClaims Manager analyses the alt text and provides a risk assessment as to whether statements appear to be verifiable or legally compliant.
Environmental labels and certification logos are automatically recognised and checked against a label database. Is the label valid? Does it match the product being advertised? Is any supporting evidence missing?
The GreenClaims Manager assesses the risk associated with missing, expired or misleadingly used labels.
Green leaves, natural landscapes, symbols of sustainability, visual elements can convey greenwashing, even without a single word. The image analysis calculates a ‘Green Narrative Score’ for each image.
The assessment takes into account the colour palette, choice of subject and the context in which the image is used.
An automatic screenshot is taken of every page crawled, serving as visual evidence of its state at the time of the scan. This is essential for compliance documentation and preserving evidence.
Screenshots show the overall context of a page and help in assessing visual indicators of greenwashing.
The compliance score (0–100) assesses the overall status of your domain. The 4-tier risk classification, High, Increased Risk, Medium, Low, helps you prioritise your actions.
With a single click, you can go directly to the relevant finding and start the resolution workflow.
